![]() It is quite possible that your device is in a WiFi network, but it still does not work, so you should. Possibly this can be considered a bug, or possibly is is more appropriately a feature request. In most cases it is due to your own internet connection. I ASSUME that VLC (and most other players) don't look 2 levels down into the sub-directory tree to find the MP3 files. ![]() But most android MP3 players, including VLC, while they can "see the" m3u files (appear when "playlists" is clicked on), indicate they have 0 (zero) entries in them, and (of course) don't play anything. ![]() Winamp is how the m3u files were created in the first place (with the directory structure existing as described). This works just fine with winamp (I have no reason not to continue to use it, it does what I want) on a windows (7) PC. So, the MP3s are two sub-directories below the m3u files. In each of the category-sub-directories, are sub-directories for each artist, and those directories contain the MP3s. Also in this same directory are several sub-directories, each for a category of music (this is how I like to organize my music). I have a directory (on the SD card) called music which contains all the m3u playlist files. ![]() I have VLC on an Android (11) tablet (tab s6 lite) and wish to use it to play my MP3 music collection. Not sure if this is a bug, or just a situation never intended. ![]()
